On 11/26/2022 we had heavy rains. Again Mr. 6915’s rebar caused water to backup into our front yard (AGAIN). Out of frustration I called 311 to report it.
Today the City Inspector showed up today on 11/28/2022 at 10:13 AM and left at 10:29 AM. He took a few pictures of the city ditch and Mr. 6915’s rebar. He did not approach Mr. 6915’s house to inquire about the rebar. Of course it’s two days later and there is no water backing up into our yard so nothing to see here.
I assume this is in response to the phone call I made to 311 back on 11/26/2022
So apparently the person that took my call at 311 on the 26th gave a pretty good description of what I described to her as we can see the Engineer is looking at the correct location and inspecting the rebar.
Unfortunately, when the City workers show up later on 12/07/2022, they totally start at the wrong location, the culver of 6907 XXXX Street, and work up the street in the wrong direction going West. And, even if they had gone in the right direction heading East, without an order to remove the Rebar, this problem would still go on. There is nothing wrong with the ditches them selves. It’s the rebar that captures derbies when it rains, causing a clog or obstruction of the water naturally flowing East as the City has designed it to do.
Anyway… Frustration… And still no resolution…
